Jonathan recently returned from Fort Severn, Ontario which is the most northern community in the province.  This is polar bear country.  Upon his arrival, he first went to the home of the Deputy Chief where he did protocol and shared his heart with all those who had gathered.

Jonathan was kept very busy during his time there.  Every night, he did a community concert which were well attended by both young and old.  He also met with the children and youth during the day for a time of sharing and encouraging.

He was invited into many of the homes for a time of fellowship.  What a wonderful way to build new relationships and get to know the people!

The last night there was really great!  Lots of people came from the community and there were even song requests.  Afterward, some of the leaders said that they felt that there was hope for their people.

Jonathan looks forward to returning with Broken Walls in the near future.

Iditarod Tour 2014

Broken Walls finished another outreach along the Iditarod Trail.  This year, Broken Walls travelled to Wasilla, Unalakleet, Nome, Elim, Koyuk, Kaltag, Nulato, Anvik and Nikolai.  The team consisted of Bill Pagaran, Jonathan Maracle, Carol Pauline Sullivan, Dylan Nayokpuk, William Clark, Paul Starling, Aaron Brogan, Becca Brogan, Brian Bruxvoort, Marilyn Redd, Michael Boettcher, Cayla Boettcher, Bob Widman and the Missionary Aviation Repair Center team.

We had two airplanes to travel from village to village, and carry our team and 2,500 pounds of equipment, food, supplies and sleeping gear.  It was an intense schedule with school assemblies and evening concerts at each village.  Approximately 100 people came into the Kingdom, many people rededicated their lives and many, many were blessed, strengthened and encouraged.

Thank you to all who helped to make this outreach possible.  Bill shares:  "You helped save lives.  You gave wings to dreams all throughout Alaska and you deposited hope in Christ that won't disappoint."
